Bauers can't even get the occasional extra base hit, he's 8 for his last 50, all singles, and he does nothing but whiff in high leverage situations. It just doesn't make any sense.

Well, Marmo has had multiple chances and can't seem to hit in the majors consistently. I agree it's time to give him another shot, but I can also see why the Mariners would be skeptical. Plus, there's been some chatter that AAA pitching is down this year. I'm not sure if that's provable, but it could be the case.

I've always said he's a 4th outfielder. He's still walking and hits well against righties. I don't think Bauers would put up a 1.167 OPS in AAA right now.
