I don't quite understand how a guy can be 89-96 throwing the same pitch. He's been in the 89-92 range for a while now... not a good sign.

Mariners win! We're HEROES!!!
I just turned on the game and was shocked. My guess would have been "Oh, Kikuchi must have held the fort for five or six innings" but a two-hit shutout. Well done.

Lopes with a .766 OPS and a .286 BA. That is easily good enough for 2B. I hope they give him and Shed a fair fight for the 2B job.

A few people want a higher draft pick, but I think seeing success from guys like Kikuchi is much more important. Great start from kikuchi

Not soon enough. Just think, we could have had Keon AND Mac Williamson out there together.Juliooooo wrote: ↑Sun Aug 18, 2019 7:27 pmBroxton should get Dfa when Haniger comes back.SphereStrikesOut wrote: ↑Sun Aug 18, 2019 7:22 pmBroxton. It's pretty simple. The difference between a good Kikuchi and a bad Kikuchi is far greater than the difference between the number 5 pick in the number 6 pick

Shutting down a lineup including 7 players hitting below .228 isn't the stuff of Kings. I think if we're lucky, he may rise to the level of Royal Page.SphereStrikesOut wrote: ↑Sun Aug 18, 2019 7:49 pmKing Kikuchi has a nice ring to it.DavidGee24 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 18, 2019 7:38 pmMariners win! I can't wait to read all you guys' posts on draft day whining when the player you coveted gets picked 1 or 2 slots ahead of the Mariners' draft pick.
