I'm not certain I have confidence in ANY of the vaccines. But since my employer mandates I have it, there is no way to challenge the mandate and keep my position. Yet most of the statistics show that for all ages, you have less than a three percent chance of coming down with the little virus with the most vulnerable and less than 1% for the largest groups. At what point does the government stop forcing us to wear masks? When there is no covid fatalities in the country for a month? How are they going to say that while allowing illegals into the country without some sort of proof of being vaccinated?

Get this. Here in our Squantum neighborhood we had an annual Porchfest event which is basically Bands and musicians performing in their yards and porches throughout the neighborhood. Not a single mask to be be seen until we got to this dorkfest liberal band of loons right near our house. It was a Acapella/Barber shop quartet nerdfest. And OF COURSE these probably double vaccinated people were ALL wearing masks WHILE singing OUTSIDE while socially distanced. Just beyond belief. I wonder if they were frightened of us maskless people being within 100 feet of them.

NYC sucks.
For teachers the mandate was Monday, then pushed to Wednesday, now Friday...because of the shortage of teachers and staff.
They want to "talk" personally with every unvaccinated union member to see what their "plan" is going forward.
In other words... to cover their asses and avoid lawsuits. That's why they'll still give them health benefits but no pay for a year!

Same shit for the healthworkers. Now they'll import people from other states to work here?
Why not just stop the mandate? i.e. If 87 percent of NYC teachers are vaccinated the herd is protected right?
Everyone vaccinated or not still has to wear a mask all fucking day long and get tested weekly.
My school observation was cancelled this morning because a vaccinated teacher tested positive for fucking COVID.
The NYPD still work if tested weekly....so why not the teacher you ask?!?!?
Because they want to vaccinate 5 year olds that's why! Sick mother fuckers.
