Man, and Seager thinks JD gave him the cold shoulder. KK might want to pack heat if anywhere near Jerry's office.

They have to trade him. Clear the decks of the riff raff.

That definitely throws a wrinkle in the plan...

If they don't trade him, hopefully they give him Sheffields spot in the back of the bullpen instead of acting like he's their #3 SP like it feels like they would have done in years past.

So sounds like we should have drafted Conforto instead of Hultzen. I guess this is our second chance.
I don't know if he should be a high priority get or not.

But he's more likely to rebound and have an OPS in the mid-to-high .800's than he is to stay around the low .700's - just on history alone.
Yeah, like I posted, his last 74 games, he had an .815 OPS. That would have lead our team as well.

Brock is out with a piece saying there is a good chance Julio is on the OD roster so their wouldn't be room for him in that case unless he is a DH and part time OFer.
When Dipoto talks about using the dh spot to add talent I am thinking it's what he is getting at, a 4th outfielder that stays in the lineup as the dh

That's four years old:
SEATTLE - The Mariners will replace all the grass and dirt at Safeco Field for the first time since the park opened in 1999. The Mariners announced Wednesday that the removal of the sod and dirt will begin this week. The plan is to have the new grass in place by the end of October.Oct 5, 2017
Jesus, I must've been really tired to have missed that. Then again it was an ad that popped up on my Google home page. Weird as fuck. Well never mind, sorry bout that. Been pulling a lot of OT lately.

What's funny is replacing the grass had exactly the opposite effect. 4 years of data to back it up now. The field creates it's own succubus for offense. Maybe it's a Guardian burial ground and we're cursed.

Potential DH like Schwarber- .930 OPS

Conglomerate of 4 OF+France+Torrens to make a DH .770 OPS

.930-.770= .160 OPS difference between Schwarber and 6-to-make-1 rotating DH.

We're giving up more offense by using the rotating DH over a Schwarber than we are by having Crawford at SS over Correa.

Blasphemy to sacrifice offense at the one position literally built for nothing but offense.

.850-.715= .135 OPS difference between Correa and Crawford.

He certainly is tradable and I can see more then a few teams thinking they can fix him.

So you agree that he is focused on adding 4th OFers and other similar secondary pieces.
