Paypal
Over the past year ebay has been transitioning their sellers from accepting PayPal payments to payments managed by eBay.
Despite what have to be massive losses of revenue stream the stock has still risen over the past year by 70+%
It's one I'll be keeping an eye on for a short at some point soon. Currently at $293.70

Re: Paypal
Have you checked Sava lately? A couple months ago I tried to buy 1k shares at $37 but it wasn't marginable.... sigh...

Re: Paypal
In my opinion PayPal is seeing the writing on the wall. When ebay switched to in-house payment processing, Paypal lost a massive revenue source.
They appear to be making a move to take over Pinterest in an effort to monetize/process payments of user posts to replace some of the eBay revenue. Seems like a hail mary to me, but maybe they can pull it off.

Re: Paypal
I even underestimated how far PayPal would fall. It's only been 8 months. Everything else is down 30% lately also of course. Except gold. It's up 2%. Since 2012.bpj wrote: ↑Fri Jun 25, 2021 4:42 amOver the past year ebay has been transitioning their sellers from accepting PayPal payments to payments managed by eBay.
