Can we talk about how the Astros have 6 players with a .900 OPS or higher? Jesus.
Good drafting, good signings......

I have roughly determined the odds of Vogey’s reaching the vaunted Mendoza are not good.

He’d have to average .136 with 110 more at bats, getting 15 hits.

Hey, if it keeps the Yankees from reaching the WS I don't really care that much. The fvcking Mariners aren't going to get there any time soon so what does it matter?

The Yanks are going to have to get through that Verlander/Cole/Greinke gauntlet and their starters are going to have to really step up. Right now it's a really good matchup for the Astros.

Now Dan Wilson is talking about Tanaka's pitch count...in a 6-0 game in the 7th inning, with their bullpen.

Meanwhile, the Yankee broadcast team probably isn't even looking at pitch counts.

Yeah, caught that. I found myself wishing Ron Fairly was in in the booth with him.
