Rittenhouse
Re: Rittenhouse
I understand the, "He shouldn't have been out there with a gun at 17," arguments, but this video is how I see it also.
Police were standing down, rioters were beginning to roam gated neighborhoods.
Personally I'd let the lib areas burn, but if they do bring it to my familys doorstep, then it's time to dance.

Re: Rittenhouse
Hoping Rittenhouse owns some of the news organizations, Facebook, and President Biden by the time it's all said and done.
He's going to be filthy rich, at minimum, with all of the "white supremacist, murderer" accusations that he was labeled.
(Sandmann the kid that also got filthy rich thanks to the fake news)

Re: Rittenhouse
Except most of the small businesses in Kenosha, Portland, and Minneapolis don't have insurance coverage for riots. So it will come down to the taxpayers if they want to make the destroyed areas look presentable. Of course they could turn all the destruction into Hollywood backlots and have them just put up the facades.bpj wrote: ↑Sun Nov 21, 2021 9:34 pmYou know they actually have a very clever game going on for inner city revitalization that they couldn't get funded directly by the local taxpayers.
Let the riots run rampant, charge the insurance companies for the damage and within a few years the whole city has gotten a facelift on the insurance companies dime.
Wouldn't want to be left holding those bags. Guessing it will default to.. the government, eventually, and we'll all be footing the bill.

Good point, I hope they all turn into Detroit. It's what these libs deserve.ddraig wrote: ↑Sun Nov 21, 2021 10:21 pmExcept most of the small businesses in Kenosha, Portland, and Minneapolis don't have insurance coverage for riots. Multiple injuries from an SUV driving through a Christmas parade in Jared Kelenic's home town. How long until it somehow gets political?

Re: Rittenhouse
Should the media continue egging on the ANTIFA and BLM types, it is only a matter of time when people begin to defend themselves against the left's aggression. And that's what the MSM wants. They want ordinary citizens to stand up to the bullies so they can point and say, "See, we told you so! Whites are racist and will do anything to retain power." When that happens, the useful idiots on the left will begin arming themselves and voila! We have a Civil War. What is truly amazing is that people believe these liars.
Re: Rittenhouse
He's guilty of being a victim of the media. Picture it this way. He knew his hometown (his dad, grandmother and aunt all live in Kenosha, and he is only a short 20 min away in Illinois) was about to burned o the ground. His friend calls him and asks him to help protect their family store. He goes and helps clean up graffiti and respond to putting out a fire that the mob has start only to be attacked by that mob. His friend provided him a weapon that he was legally able to have because the laws in WI does not prohibit a 17 year old from being armed. The adults in Kenosha where all too scared to respond to what was known to become a riot. This 17 year old was willing to step up. So what do you think he is guilt of again?maoling wrote: ↑Tue Nov 16, 2021 1:43 amI haven't followed this case very closely until lately, although I "assumed" he had killed non-whites. I didn't realize he had killed a white child rapist and someone who also had an extensive criminal record. Not that he would have known that at the time.
Still, despite the fact he offed two dirtbags and probably did the world a favor, I have a problem with a 17-year-old heading down to a riot as a wannabe vigilante with an AR-15. I think he is an idiot. After watching the videos however, there's no way I could convict him of murder. Or likely not even 2nd degree murder.
But Jeezus, he's guilty of something. I just don't know what. When you bring an assault rifle to a dangerous and volatile situation and then inject yourself into the vortex of that situation, no good is going to come of it and I think this kid needs to do some time.

How will the liberal press and liberal government turn this into a reason to pass laws against guns?
We all know they're thinking it.
