High ceilings. In houses before air conditioning, the ceilings were much higher than they are today. I would guess, however, that it is a vaulted ceiling as I doubt the house was built in Colonial times.
LOL that house was built in 2004 and you have been in it. :)
I thought it made everyone look shorter! :shock:
