OK, WHY would any of you vote Lock? What about him tells you he should be the guy?

He couldn't beat out Teddy Bridgewater.
When given the chance, he went 4-9 with the roster that everybody is saying is a Super Bowl contender with Russ.
His QBR last year was 23
He has as many INTs as TDs
The knock against him is ability to read defense and make decisions.

What exactly makes any of you think he should be the starting QB for us, or ANY NFL team? I mean, maybe it turns out he is. I hope so. I just see zero evidence of it.

My preference, in some approximate order, until a stud rookie is brought in:
Foles
Fitzmagic
Winston
Baker
Mariota
Geno Smith
Me
Lock

Foles is 3-9 in his last 12 starts and lost his job to Justin Fields.

He's about as dead as they come at QB.

He played 14 games his rookie year and hasn't really had many chances since. His numbers were pretty good. Better than the full season Lock played, and Lock played his full season in his second season. I guess maybe I am more interested in this than I thought, but damn, I don't like that guy. If he wasn't a Cougar, I think most in this State would think his act was tiresome. Does anyone really think he is even half as good as he thinks he is? If he played for the Ducks everyone in this State would loath him. He spent as much time in Pullman as Markel Fultz spent in Montlake, but Cougs just love the dude.

If nothing else it would sell tickets.
