Seattle takes the mighty Royal lineup 4-3-22 Cactus League
1st Rd prospect Daniel Lynch and the Royals lineup looks like it'll be vying for the AL Central Division this season. Jesus!
Meanwhile, Gilbert sporting a sparkling 8.10 ERA this Spring. But thats ok, because he strikes out a lot of guys

Who are you more worried about heading into the season: Winker, Kelenic, or Gilbert?Meanwhile, Gilbert sporting a sparkling 8.10 ERA this Spring. But thats ok, because he strikes out a lot of guys

It’s still KKKKelenic. Want him to do well very, very much.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Sun Apr 03, 2022 3:17 pmWho are you more worried about heading into the season: Winker, Kelenic, or Gilbert?Meanwhile, Gilbert sporting a sparkling 8.10 ERA this Spring. He’s got to prove it.
I believe Winker will be as advertised. His adjustments are new team and new league. I expected a slow start, he just seems like a ball player that once he hits his groove it’s death to pitchers.
Gilbert is quickly discovering how to make adjustments to mlb as hitters adjust to him. He is still maturing and will rise to that level and maintain successive +++’s but is still going to have wtf moments. Still young, still figuring it out and still improving.
JK, on the other hand, I think will have bust out games and long periods of clunkers. I worry that if 2021 repeats itself, it may break him. Some of his bravado is a facade. Does he that inate “it” factor that makes him persevere and rise? Sure hope so.
Rocky Colavito is a Hall of Famer in my book!

Unreal, Stecker was so proud of himself for his idiotic idea he decided to write a column on it. LOL So what is in it for the other teams.

Honestly, its probably 60/40 Kelenic to Gilbert. And the reason I say Jarred is because of his frustration issues. This is the first time in his life that he's probably ever had to deal with failures of this magnitude. Which is understandable, he's so very young. Which is why it was super important for Jerry to put as much firepower into this lineup as possible, so Kelenic doesn't feel like he should have to carry this offense. He's a different breed than Julio mentally wise. As far as tools go, he's just as loud and highly rated as Rodriguez. Its his mental approach that needs adjusting. The fact he's only less than a year in the league still gives me hope that he figures it out and becomes the player that I think he will become.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Sun Apr 03, 2022 3:17 pmWho are you more worried about heading into the season: Winker, Kelenic, or Gilbert?Meanwhile, Gilbert sporting a sparkling 8.10 ERA this Spring. Logan on the other hand has had longer stretches of success. His composure on the mound is night and day compared to Jarred's. But every now and then he has that one bad inning. And then things just begin to unravel for him. I think both kids can have fantastic seasons for us this year. I'm as hyped as I've ever been going into a season.
Let's Go M's!
