I was just asking. Amadi was out there most of the first half, wasn't he? You would think they could have adjusted things after that 1st series.

That's not very realistic to change your whole game plan after one series. At what point do you give credit to your opponent?Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Wed Sep 11, 2019 8:10 pmI was just asking. Give them credit? Isn't that what i am doing by suggesting they outcoached us? If you want to say it was the players, well, Dalton isn't Tom Brady or even Phillip Rivers but he looked like them for almost the entire game. I just heard that was his career high for yardage. So is the Seahawks' personnel that bad that, even knowing what they were going to do, there was nothing they could do to stop it or even slow it down? I don't buy that.

Bengals have some good players. They played well. Get over it.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Thu Sep 12, 2019 2:49 pmGive them credit? Isn't that what i am doing by suggesting they outcoached us? In my opinion, Schottenheimer and Norton were lousy both in preparation for the game as well as during the game. It looked like the Bevell offense with the numerous 3 and outs and something like 7 yards in the 1st quarter. That shit has to stop. There is no reason this team should be struggling early to move the ball, unless the offensive line is so bad that they simply can't execute plays with one of the better QB/RB/WR combos in the league.

They're Pittsburgh in 3 days dude. Stop bitching about Bengals( They won) . Guess what Steelers are gonna move the ball, score and have a great pass rush too.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Thu Sep 12, 2019 3:54 pmIn my opinion, Schottenheimer and Norton were lousy both in preparation for the game as well as during the game. You're skipping a lot of context here. Cinci has a new coaching staff - Seattle has NO TAPE on their new schemes to prepare for. Second, Seattle was running a base defense that is missing several key pieces. Running a base defense is an opposing QB's wet dream - if it's man to man they know where the mismatch will be, if it's zone, they know where the opening will be. That's the downside of running a very base defense. Blitzing and coverage disguises affect that, but they don't do much of that - probably because of the youth in the back end - who may not know their assignments as well. Any good Qb can find the weakness - especially vs a base defense - it's not hard to do. In years past, the defense was SO good, they minimized the gains with tackling and physicality. Now, the defense isn't as good, so they relying on the strength of the defense - the LB unit - to make up for a lot of shortcomings on the back end, and missing pieces up front. There are limitations. CInci has always had a formidable defense, this is nothing new. Seattle offense always stumbles and bumbles out of the gate. this is also nothing new. They are trying to minimize risk on both sides of the ball until they are at full strength by playing conservatively. Blitzing will put added stress on the backend - which is Seattle's glaring weakness. Do you really want to put additional stress where they are most vulnerable? Offensive line? I have no explanation for that shit show.

there is a quote out there from Ifedi, can't find it now, he says they played like shit, the Oline, says the issue was the Oline and himself, they came out flat and were shit. There is PC saying he is surprised at how badly they played. He says they need to play better...So there ya go, they played like shit and won the game. You move on now, hopefully play better the next one

Well, they played like shit because Britt, Ifedi, and Pocic are shitty linemen. Solari is one coach i have faith in.
