It's funny. Earlier in the season, Swanson had some poor outings and most here wanted him hung, disposed of or at least demoted. Then he had a few good games but got injured and is on the DL. So now he's the savior; he's the embodiment of 2021's Sewald.

The bullpen has no depth, and we are asking Murfee, who should be about the 7th reliever to do too much, and he finally folded being put into a higher pressure situation than he should this early in his career.

Swanson is the best piece out of the Paxton Trade and Eugenio is the best piece out of the Cano trade.

In his last 30 games Julio has put up Ty France numbers: .327/.372/.496/.868 and he is 6.5 years younger.

And he's stolen 8 bases (12 on the season) while playing a very solid CF. Best player on the team.

But my hats off to Castillo and Sewald for shutting it down.

We got to get back to a point where our starter doesn't give up a big inning.
