Edwin Arroyo and Bryce Miller are shining so far. And now Emerson Hancock is back on the hill, taking the ball every 5th day. So we got that going for us, which is nice
Definitely need some good news.

Looks like Morgan is out of baseball. Finished with 840Ks in 459 games. One of Jack Zs RH power hitter fetish guys. 2nd round pick in 2014.

I remember being pretty skeptical about that pick. On the other hand, he had legitimate power so I don't think they were crazy to take him. It was a gamble on the upside in the second round, which is where you want to do that sort of thing. There have been quite a few worse 1st and 2nd round picks by the Mariners.

It might have turned out better for the player though if he went to college.

Liking the 2021 2nd round pick. Might end up being Jerry's best pick ever though I think Gilbert will provide a very high bar.

I don't know what's going on with JK and the strikeouts in Tacoma, but my guess is he's working on something. Or at least I'm hoping that's the case. Something I wonder about though, because his whiff numbers are so much worse than last year, is if there is something going on with his eyes. Hopefully not, but it's hard not to wonder.

Arkansas played a doubleheader yesterday, with two 7 innning games.

In one of those games, Conner Jones pitched a no-no. Jones is a former 2nd round pick, but he's 27 years old.

He was in the bullpen for his former team, wonder of Ms will consider him for that role this year. Interesting that he was paid above slot as a college pitcher drafted in the 2nd round. He had the pedigree. Then again, Ms drafted Andrew Moore in the second round and he couldn't top 90 mph...

I have been avoiding their box scores. Just looked and they have zero guys with an .800+ OPS :|

I think Connor Jones probably just earned himself a close look by the organization. Wouldn't be surprised if he's the unofficial #6 starter.

Stoudt has been pretty good as well (outside 1 start). Wonder which would get the first call if they need a spot start.
