Mariners minors. Thread for interesting news and stats.
Re: Mariners minors. Thread for interesting news and stats.
Stoudt has fallen off a cliff this year. He probably shouldn't be included as anything meaningful in a trade package. I wonder if he's injured, or if a move to the bullpen is in his future.

He could be injured, or it may simply have to do with pitch development. We just don't know. Obviously, he isn't one of those guys that just rockets through the minors. He's doing his time, getting his reps in and hopefully developing. But yeah, he could go to the bullpen next year. Definitely could happen.

Morales was a third round pick, which in most cases means there's a lot of development required. He's a prospect because of his upside. As for preferring the boring guy with the low ERA & WHIP, there are tons of those guys all over the low minors, but they quite often crash in AA.

Maybe. I'm hoping he figures it out. If it was injury, I'm sure they would have given him a break.GL_Storm wrote: ↑Fri Jul 15, 2022 3:49 amHe could be injured, or it may simply have to do with pitch development. We just don't know. He hasn’t been consistent but he has had more good then then bad games
Re: Mariners minors. Thread for interesting news and stats.
Since June he's struggled. 6 ER in 4 innings today. Hopefully the AS break does him some good. He has the stuff, just needs to put out all together.

Marte 4-5 with a HR. OPS up to .825
Ford and Arroyo go 2-4 each. Fits with a HR.
Will be interesting to see what promotions happen after the draft and AS break.

I wanna know how Isaiah Campbell gets completely ignored in the t30? Sam Carlson makes it but Campbell no? the fuck? That's a clear brain fart on their part.
