Take it easy on J-Up. He got this stretch started with that late homer vs the As. That was big. I'll take that contribution

I can't believe we won it. I was at work today but I listened a bit on the radio at lunch and stuff. I checked my phone at dow 1 -0 then I had lunch and heard it was 3-1 good guys.

As Julio mentioned it gets Dicey when Trammell comes back. I honestly think it will work itself out though. One of them will have some sort set back and Lewis simply won't be able play consistently. He can't just be a DH at his age.GL_Storm wrote: ↑Sun Jul 17, 2022 11:05 pmI'm all in on Moore and Haggerty as my dedicated bench/utility guys. I think the logical move when Lewis comes back is to send Abe to Tacoma or maybe the IL. And when Haniger comes back, it's probably Upton to DFA unless they find a buyer for Frazier. Or, they could make up an injury for Upton I suppose.

Even with a 14-game win streak (and winning 22 of 25) the Mariners' season winning percentage (.548) falls short of last year's full-season winning percentage (.556). But this year's team has a +36 run differential while last year's team ended at -51.
But the modest second-half strength of schedule is encouraging:

After 93 games the Mariners are 51-42 with a 67.7 percent chance of advancing to the postseason, according to FanGraphs:

After 93 games of the 2018 season the Mariners were 58-35 with a an 80.6 percent chance of advancing to the postseason, according to FanGraphs:

Let's hope this is the year.
