I think Dylan Moore has looked good enough in spurts to keep around..but at age 27 he gets a much shorter leash than if he were 23.
Maybe he just used psychology on me as a fan with that horrendous MLB debut..then gradually battling back from it like a real trooper...

If Mariners let Dylan Moore leave, he'll have at least 1 big season like Chris Taylor or BradMiller. He struggled early in the season, but was a rookie and improved. He was pretty good in the minors outside 1 season in 2017

There really isn't anything about his professional career thus far that would indicate he could do what Taylor or Miller did, but he does look like he can be a decent utility player and I'd like to see the team give him that spot next year.

If Long can't be a spot SS, then he's useless as a UTIL. So, if he can't win a starting job, he's useless.

I dont care who the UTIL player is, they shouldn't be in the game anyways. These kids aren't little babyback bitches that need every fourth day off.

THere wasn't in Taylor or Millers career to suggest they could hit 21 or 30 HR in a season respectively. Taylor has come back to earth, and is probably about what you can expect of Moore, although I think Moore could be a little better. Utility is where he belongs, but he has a little pop, and could hit 15-20 HR if given 350 AB, and I think he can bump his average up to .240-.250.
