Haniger has now played 6 games and is at .316/1.041. Let him play 2 more games and then on Sunday fly his ass to NYC to be ready for the Yankees series.
Good News/Bad News: The good news is I think JD will do it. The bad news is he will send Sam back rather than our favorite switch hitter.

I'd send Toro down to have reps playing the OF.

I think he'll join the team at home on Aug 5. Hope I'm wrong.

First I have heard of the LF projection. :(
Marte isn’t the shortstop of the future and questions about his arm strength and infield skills lead some scouts to believe he’s a left fielder. At 6-3 and 200-plus pounds, he’s a physical specimen at age 20. Playing for High-A Everett, he’s posted a .267/.359/.457 slash line with 18 doubles, 15 homers, 54 RBI, 42 walks and 81 strikeouts in 384 plate appearances.

There's always been some question on if he'd stick in the infield. Truth is, if he moves to OF, he could play CF or RF I'd imagine, he was one a 70 grade speed. I sunr think arm strength is the problem as much as accuracy. I don't think range is even the biggest question for him defensively from what I've read, at least right now.

If so I somehow missed. All I have ever seen is him moving to 3B. Going from 3B to COF is a major negative positional adjustment. Twice as much as going from SS to 3B.

It was talked about when he was in DSL and during the Lockout more. He had the power and hit tool for the OF though. Could be a 35-40 HR type player.

Yeah it is bad news for more for him than us. But he would have less value in trades and we would still need a 3B when Geno is gone.

He should be able to handle 3B. Get him with Perry Hill, and give him time. It should improve with time. I'd give him a shot at 2B next year when he's ready too.

Yeah if it is his Arm then 2B is the answer. Maybe revise my INF to Cole/Arroyo/Marte/Ty
