Brash has options.
Depends on when Boyd is ready. Do they want to stretch him out a bit so he can pitch 3-4 innings, or is he just the lefty reliever in place of Boruki. If its the latter, then I could see him coming up and Brash getting optioned until Sept.
Guessing the former. Only two weeks until Sept. He will need at least 3-4 more appearances to that gets us there.
He could also replace that Bernardino guy if he's ready before Borucki.

They'll have 2 expanded roster spots in Sept. I'd probably wait until he can replace Brash. They're probably going to call up Trammell or Kelenic. Then there's White, if they want to give him a chance this season, probably not since that means pushing Lamb or someone like that off the roster.

Wow, I am impressed Churchill does travel. This is from about two weeks ago BEFORE Sanchez went off.
23. Axel Sanchez, SS

Sanchez has been on my radar since Day 1, but not until I got a look at him in Stockton did I fall for the kid.

I knew he had good hands, arm, and feet, but what I didn’t know was Sanchez has strength, bat speed, and hits the ball hard. He ripped four balls over 100 mph in two games with me in attendance, including three extra-base hits. The loft and leverage was natural.

He’s a legit long-term shortstop with a 55 arm and easy, natural actions. He’ll have some problems covering the zone versus better pitching with his current attack plan, but he’s just 19 and has shown power, speed, and defense both years in pro ball. I wouldn’t be surprised if Sanchez climbs into the Top 10 at some point, but his ability to make consistent hard contact as he moves up the ladder will dictate that, and everything else.

No reason to waste an option on white. Hancock went 7 inning other night and white hot in AA, could see him getting a spot start as well

Agree that White doesn't come up but you only burn an option if you send a guy down.

No need to start Hancock's clock. White has plenty of options, 3 of them.

Was I correct about the options burn. Don't you only burn them sending a guy down? Thanks.
