This is wild. 1st 8 hitters in the Travs lineup are hitting between .242-.260 and OPSing between .721-.791

Yeah, it's not very impressive. I think Deloach and Rizzo have a chance at some MLB time when both will be at AAA next year, Rizzo maybe with another team. With Deloach, I wonder how maxed out he is just in terms of pure strength. I know we criticize JK because he does a lot of strength work and bulks up in the offseason, but that doesn't mean all strength training is bad. I just wonder if there is room for Deloach to make the ball leave the bat a little harder than it does right now.
It's not as hopeless as you might think. AA Texas league is a pitcher's league. These guys will likely all come up to AAA next year and dominate the PCL and its hitters parks

Zach Deloach has a .827/.698, H/R split maybe not as discouraging as his numbers look on the surface.

Good news.
Jarred Kelenic has struck out just one time in his last eight games for Tacoma, spanning 35 plate appearances. Looking back a bit further, he has only five strikeouts in his last 68 plate appearances at the Triple-A level. This is in stark contrast to when he first joined the team early in the season, after opening the season in the majors, when he struck out 21 times in his first 55 plate appearances for Tacoma.

Taylor Trammell has put up similar numbers. He had a streak of five straight games without a whiff end last night, when he fanned for his first time in 28 plate appearances. In his past 47 trips to the dish, he has just four strikeouts. In 2021 Trammell had 323 plate appearances in Triple-A, striking out 74 times (22.9%).

Looks like JK has gone back to his old stance. Also, no leg kick, which I always hated.

Strong outing from Bryce Miller. I guess they must be limiting his innings on purpose and/or trying to get more innings for some of the bullpen guys before the season ends.

Good games for White and Trammell. Bring Trammel up! White almost up to the Mendoza line! Toro, Lewis and JK go 1-13.

Axel Sanchez will not stop hitting. Hit another HR and is now up to a not so tiny sample of 90 PAs at Modesto. .378/.467/.767/1.234

Trammell should have been up a week ago. We are facing our 6th right handed starter in a row tomorrow. Could have used his bat every one of those games.

The lack of urgency is always frustrating. Always finally making obvious moves at least a couple weeks after they are initially suggested here.

Good thing we didn't IL Haggerty so he could K 3 times and fail to get a Sac bunt down. I love Haggerty, but as a bench player. He's not an every day player unless he learns how to hit against righties.
