Kirby, Brash, Gilbert, combined had 5 innings in Tacoma before being called up to Seattle the first time. Is that the kind of response you wanted? They are going to protect their picking prospects in Arkansas until they are ready to be called up. There are many scenarios where Dollard might go to Tacoma, but Mariners don't see it as a necessary promotion, and I don't think they want their prospects spending more than a few games there.
