Yes game two isn't until Thursday so I'm glad they maxed out Castillo tonight.

Mariners win! We're HEROES!!!
We waited 21 years and got rewarded with a SHUT. OUT. Like I said earlier, a lot of times you're only as good as the opposing pitcher. Castillo and Munoz total money today.
Fingers crossed for good Robbie Ray tomorrow...

best game ever!
Castillo dominated a top notch line up. He even revenge plunked one of their stars after two to our own.
4-0

Not sure if all youse guys saw this tidbit, but I'd bet Ray springs back to Cy Young performance in Game 2bpj wrote: ↑Fri Oct 07, 2022 9:27 pmOne good thing about Ray is that last season in Toronto he had splits of 2.58 ERA in Toronto compared to 3.16 ERA on the road.
A .622 OPS against him in Toronto, a .721 OPS against him in Away games.
He likes pitching in Toronto, I think things look in our favor!
This season he has had a 3.02 ERA at T-Mobile and 4.69 ERA on the road.
Guess we'll see how comfortable he actually is at the Rogers Centre

So pleased for Darren and Mike getting to see that game last night. You both deserved to see that stunning performance and hope they can finish it off tonight.
I am well chuffed for you both.
