Re: Finally! Official Hot Stove League Thread
If we traded for Wong, or Glybar we could go with lefties Nimmo, Conforto, Bell, or Yoshida as the and three upgrades to the offense would be OK.
Teo last 3 127, 131, 146OPS+
Just for arguments sake Let's say it is Nimmo. 130, 131, 145 OPS+ last 3 years
And Glybar. Glybar has that big HH rate and that is something they honed in on Teo. And he is young he will be 26 next year so we are getting prime time.
Position player OPS+
1. CF JRod 150
2. 1B France 130
3. OF *Nimmo 130
4. OF Teoscar 130
5. 3B Saurez 130
6. C Cal ***** 130
7. 2B G. T. 115
8. SS *JP 100
9. Hottest of:
9. is the DH spot so right now that is the best of Moore 122, *JK 55, *TT99, *Marlow, **Haggerty 116, **Hummell 66
But don't forget that Murphy had a 128 OPS+ as a Mariner just a few years ago and was at a 160 in SSS this year.

An excerpt from Ken Rosenthal's most recent Athletic article
"Pitching is not the Rangers’ only focus. The team also is showing interest in free-agent outfielder Mitch Haniger, who is drawing attention from the Giants and other clubs as well. Haniger, who missed more than three months last season with a sprained right ankle, batted .254 with eight homers and a .740 OPS after rejoining the Mariners on Aug. 6."

Re: Finally! Official Hot Stove League Thread
I think Mitch will find a 3-year deal. Maybe I'm wrong. Who knows? But I think I'm probably right. He's good at hitting dingers and teams like that. Besides SF and Texas, I could see Dodgers or Yankees being a fit, maybe Orioles. Really, he could fit with any team that see themselves in contention next year. How about Houston?

I will NEVER read from that trash site again. Thank you for posting that.
