I don't think it's a stretch to say that no one has had a greater impact on the game of football over the last 20 years than Leach. He basically invented a whole new way to play the game and virtually every offense has adapted some of his schemes to one degree or another. He has had 10 assistant coaches and 5 players who have become college head coaches. That's pretty impressive for a guy who spent his entire head coaching career in Lubbock, Pullman, and Starkville.

Excellent point. Just heard a great story about a QB he told wasn't going to play, but he sure hopes that he sticks around and helps him coach, because he sees a future in him there. That guy left pissed off, but came back later and took Leach up on his offer.
