Have any of you ever actually watched Anthony Richardson play?? Not just selected highlights, but actually watched him? He is sooooooo bad... at least as a QB. He's a great runner, and has a cannon for an arm, so yeah, you can make an impressive highlight reel, but he can't throw for shit. REALLY bad at everything you want a QB to do EXCEPT scrambling and throwing the ball 70 yards. He completes less than 50% of his passes against any team you've heard of!!! His last game he was 9-27. You can look up his numbers, but the eye test is even worse - unless you look at him as a TE or RB.
LOL. easy there, addict.
I had just got done saying I wanted a QB that can run. That guy can run and he's big enough to not get killed running.
I did glance at his stats and saw they are not as rosy as his highlight tape, which is impressive. I also don't like that he abandoned his team for
their bowl.
"EXCEPT scrambling and throwing the ball 70 yards."
There were many games where RW did exactly this an the Seahawks won. so slow down with your duel-threat QB prejudice.

FYI about me, I think draft pick research, speculation and prediction is ridiculous as a fan. I was saying that this is the type
of QB I want.
Have to admit, that highlight vid was Off the Hook.

That's the thing - he's NOT a dual threat QB. He's a ONE threat QB - running. He is no threat to throw. So if you want the type of QB that can't complete a pass, then we can just agree to disagree.

Yeah if he is taken top 5 he prob gives Jamarcus Russell or Leaf a run for their money as all time busts. imo
If the Seahawks take him top 5 I might jump off a cliff. His floor is J. Russell, his ceiling is Kaepernick. Maybe you get a year or two of production before teams figure out he's only got one real threat

This is hands down the single most coveted guy in the Draft for me. But if we wind up with Levis as a consolation prize, I will not be bummed.

Inaccurate statement. Give him DK and Lockett and he'll be a dual threat. Guy had zero receivers to throw too in college.

Elite QBs start in year one. There are none available so you tag him. Don't draft a QB that is so lowly regarded you don't think he can start until 2025.
That's why I'd talk to Houston about trading our #12 pick this year for their first round pick next year. They probably won't be much better next year and there are four really good QB's coming out in 2024. And that would give us two First Round picks next year instead of this year. If Geno doesn't want to sign a one or two year contract, let him shop around and go pick up a place holder QB for next season.
I'm with you on this one. I'll gladly trade our 2nd 1 & 1 on our 2's for Houston's 1 & 2 next year. Yeah I'm that serious. 2023 ain't got shit on 2024.

1. Maye

2. Williams

3. Penix

4. Jefferson

Yes we need another 1st in 2024, Dear God grant me this one wish please. I don't care who's under center for 2023 I really don't.

Can you give me an example of a trade remotely similar to that in the history of the NFL? Serious question.

There hasn't ever been one. And Houston would never do that. Only 118 days left until we find out who we are picking.

Exactly and with our luck if it happened Houston would be the surprise team of 2023 and make the AFC title game. lol

Houston could easily beat the Jags at home and the Bears upset the Lions tomorrow will make for a fascinating final weekend. Zero chance the Broncos beat the Chiefs so no worries there.
