Anarcho-Tyranny
Re: Anarcho-Tyranny
Sadly, we've reached the point that if you do not follow the "group think" of the elites, you may be incarcerated. The short version of a very famous poem follows:
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

But is this a bit of hyperbole? ("if you do not follow the "group think" of the elites, you may be incarcerated") In contemporary America? Are you referring to Trump? HawkBowler? Seriously, who?

Re: Anarcho-Tyranny
It's just regular tyranny with the "anarcho" dropped in to push the idea that "government" is necessary to achieve order.
The latin root of anarchy means purely "without ruler". The whole "chaos" definition was added as a psyop to make the general public associate no "government" will lead to chaos. This is a plot to make people believe the "government" is necessary to keep them safe, but the "government" is really there to control and extort them.
So, a better term for anarcho-tyranny is probably just "powerful government". Every "government" is basically the same thing, it's just a matter of how much bullshit the people will put up with. Generally, the people will put up with almost infinite levels of bullshit as long as you implement the controls gradually.

You mean like coming after librarians?
SB 775 is an act passed by the republican controlled Missouri legislatorWhat we have with SB 775 is politicians saying, ‘We are going to determine what books should sit on your library shelves and be available to your students. And if you go against what we said there are criminal implications

And Utah bans the bible for being vulgar and violent, well that didn't take long

Hey gil. Do you ever stop name calling? Told you before, I am not Hawk bowler. Take a look at how many posts that guy has, then take a look at mine. You seem to have plenty of time for name calling instead of facts. By the way, if you care to do so, you can check with others on the forum. They know who I am.gil wrote: ↑Thu Apr 06, 2023 6:04 pmNiemoller's poem. Is. Re: Anarcho-Tyranny
The books you are referring to are not appropriate for the lower grades. They did NOT remove the books from the library but moved them to where they were more appropriate. To the sections for older students.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Sun Jun 04, 2023 1:11 pmYou mean like coming after librarians?

As for the bible, they use the word, "ass" and every time I tell my kids that, they laugh because, like many, they take the word out of context and don't know it's meaning in either Aramaic or Greek.

Re: Anarcho-Tyranny
I believe the material is being removed from libraries. I don't believe the critics think it's appropriate for any student. The aspect I thought particularly interesting was making it a crime for a school employee to supply the material
