How about them booing Paxton in the 1st inning then cheering him like crazy 5 innings later. Talk about fairweather

If you want to see real hating on a player watch the Yankees fans boo Stanton when he came on to warm up. His major crime is having serious injury issues this season.
This season?

They're booing because hes been hurt every other week throughout his career. For being such a physical specimen, he's a real wimp. One of the worst cases of pussitis in all of baseball.

They should just be happy to even be in the playoffs. Game 4 all their fans left by the 9th inning. Pathetic

Yankee fans have this ‘Roman Empire’ attitude. They live in or near the largest, most important city in the country, so their approach to fandom is imperial. Go see a mid-season game there against Boston. It has all the atmosphere of a lions vs Christians event at the Coliseum.

I think their attitude stems more from having won 27 World Series titles and 40 American League pennants than how big the city is. Heck, they have a lot to be arrogant about

Hell no I am not rooting for the Yankees. I doubt there is an AL East team I would ever root for in the playoffs. Not to mention I work with a great guy that played several years in the Astros organization.

My brother just sent it. No idea where he got it from. When I first read it I thought he was saying he got it from a member of the Yankees bullpen. LOL
