Can close the book on the Pax trade. Sheff and Klew battled for ROY in 2020. Life comes at you fast.

I hate this team.

Lifeless fucks.
I feel the same way you do about this team.

I always look forward to each new season of the Mariners, regardless if they're expected to be contenders or not. I've watched nearly every game since their existence.

This year is different for me. I no longer schedule my day around Mariners baseball. I'll turn it on when I'm home, but I'm not glued to the tv the way I've typically been in the past. I've seen most of the games this season, but it's an inning here and a couple innings there. This team is painful to watch. It's the same old BORING baseball. Good pitching, but weak ass offense. How many consecutive years have we said this now?

There's very little room for error from the pitcher's side. If they give up more than a couple runs, they know they're fucked. If I was a starting pitcher, I would hate to play for this team.

The thing that angers me the most is we all knew this was going to be the case. We knew this team as currently built was going to struggle to score runs just like they did last year and the year before that and the year before that. And if we knew it, it's damn sure Dipoto, SS, and Stanton knew it as well. And despite the organization making the highest net profit in the entire league, they did NOTHING to improve or address it. If anything, it's worse than last year despite a breakout from JK. Imagine where we would be if we were seeing the Kelenic from last year or the year before.

I didn't think I would ever see this day, but management and ownership has soured me on this team. I'll still watch and cheer for the team as I always do, but I'm not nearly as emotionally invested in them as I usually am, and I'm quite sure I'm not the only one that feels this way. So fuck Stanton and fuck Dipoto. I hope your fucking yacht's sink to the bottom of the ocean.

Our only hope is that Stanton eventually sells the team to someone like Bezos. But why would Stanton sell when they're making record profits? And Dipoto's job appears to be safe because he's built a team that's just good enough to give fans a false sense of hope, and done it on a shoestring budget compared to the rest of the league, unless you're the A's, Rays, or Royals who don't have near the revenue streams the Mariners do.

I guess DT is the only smart one here by switching his allegiance to the Pirates. I wish I could do it that easily.

Never dreamed in 1000 years this would happen but I just feel nothing when they lose. I literally don't care and actually don't mind it because that slimy POS Dipoto gets to stew in this shit soup that he created while calling it the best Lobster Bisque in all of New England.

I was initially joking about the Pirates but I have started watching their games and the are a young fun team. Reynolds and Conner Joe and old man McCutchen back for a curtain call. Just a great story. Give it a shot, it is WAY easier than I thought. Beats the alternative that is for certain.
