BYU? They joined the big 12 the beginning of this month. Haven't played any games yet, they are leaving it?

Colorado leaving is irrelevant. The Pac was screwed even if they stay.
The question is how do you make up for losing the LA schools. The answer is you simply can't. The only programs that have that type of cache that were legitimate candidates to join the Pac are Texas and Oklahoma. If they would have pushed hard for them 5 years ago this whole scenario would be different but you aren't going to get them now.

If that happened I think the Big 10 would jump in front of the SEC as the premier conference. I wonder if they can kick Rutgers and Maryland to the curb or if they are obligated to stick with them.
