Whether it's because he "lit a fire under them" by kicking a bucket then crying like a little girl because he had to live with the consequences, or because his stoic, ticking-time-bomb persona is no longer dragging them down.
Either way they're playing great!
While Kelenic has his flaws...
I think getting the total production buzz kills out of the dugout in Wong and Pollock had to breath fresh air. Imagine going into the dugout and seeing 2x mid 30 year olds making 4x as much $$ as you to hit .150 and taking your playing time.
