Awesome! Rooting for this guy. My daughter Madison and her 2 cousins Addy and Jojo(Ages 4-8) were screaming "Hey Mitch!" in their little girlie voices for what seemed like 3 innings until he finally looked over and waved at them. They freaked out!! It was hilariousD-train wrote: ↑Mon Aug 21, 2023 11:54 amMitch to start a rehab assignment on Tuesday. He has played 40 games this season, .653 OPS and -0.4 WAR.
Power-hitting outfielder Mitch Haniger is in the final stages of his rehab and is scheduled to begin a minor-league rehab assignment on Tuesday. Haniger has been out since he suffered a fractured forearm in June, although Kapler recently revealed that a back issue had actually stalled his rehab more recently. Haniger is in the first season of a three-year, $43.5 million contract he signed with the Giants last offseason. He has a .230/.281/.372 triple-slash in 160 plate appearances this season, but is a career .259/.332/.469 hitter.
Hope he gets better and rakes for SF!!
