You highlighted it yourself and I'm the dumb ass lol...He was defeated, after leading the country to victory in WW2 he was handed his hat and told, we don't need you anymore. We don't see you as the man to lead us in peace. That's is what I was referring to, this is as slow as I can say it.
Many reasons have been given for Churchill's defeat, key among them being that a desire for post-war reform was widespread amongst the population and that the man who had led Britain in war was not seen as the man to lead the nation in peace.
And yet he came back into power once his party gained the needed seats.

Yup, he did, but without winning the popular vote. A move by the labor party to increase its majority backfired.
The Labour government called a snap election for Thursday 25 October 1951 in the hope of increasing its parliamentary majority. However, despite winning the popular vote and achieving both the highest-ever total vote until it was surpassed by the Conservative Party in 1992 and again in 2019 and the highest percentage vote share, Labour won fewer seats than the Conservative Party. That was caused mainly by the collapse of the Liberal vote, which enabled the Conservatives to win seats by default

Ha! A bit of Terry information. You spent the money and time to visit but were not appreciated for it. You don't need to elaborate but that's been a real mystery. I was thinking some sort of fight but that makes sense now. That piss me the fuck off. It's worse than a fight. A fight you make up afterwards, getting blown off is just getting blown off, it's indifference, again I'm projecting.
Yep MFer invited me there, he was there for months and didn't even bother to get his cell phone functional so no means of communication other than I will meet you at this time here tomorrow. Insanity.
He didnt have a cell phone? You did hook up with him didn't you?

I know how you are, you're a great host, do it with enthusiasm. And you have taken care of him. Whole thing seems odd

I did watch them.
Still like Viveck and Desantis. Nikki performed pretty well too.

Scott still says the exact same thing he has for the last 4 years....nothing new.
Christie is a fat bloated dislikable piece of shit.
Pence is trying to act like Trump and failing.
The rest need to drop out.
Agree!!

Anyone remember Pence who said,
"I don't eat out with just a woman
that's not my wife". Something like
that! What the heck does that mean??

Believe he was attempting to demonstrate what a strict christian he feels he is. That it's immoral to be with another woman without his wife being present. By

Agree and it is lame. Basically saying he can't control himself or trust himself. Kind of like women not being allowed out without a male escort in Muslim countries type of deal.

one more angle:

Ministers, teachers, coaches, doctors and others have learned to avoid situations that 'can be "read the wrong way'" for ethical and legal reasons.

Its not that Pence can't trust himself around other women. And its not as though his wife does not trust him. But in his case its what we call emotional fidelity in a marriage. We are content ( and wise) to leave certain doors unopened and avoid others completely.
