This post should be a sticky at the top of the forum. It should be sent to the Times ad a paid advertisement, it should be sent to Seattle Sports Talk and thumbtacked to Salk’s fucking forehead! Most importantly? It should be attached to Jerry’s pink slip!bhofferb wrote: ↑Sat Oct 07, 2023 12:01 amFound this in the archives (Orinally posted by BPJ) I think this needs to be on a billboard across the street from the ballpark and printed on the sports page of the Times highlighting Jerry’s “success”

Maybe someone should show that to Stanton.

I'm just saying Cabby is probably better than Tim Anderson at this stage. Cabby had 8 OAA (Outs above average), Tim Anderson had a negative OAA for each of the last 2 years. Anyway GMs won't be dumb enought to be using the word "ideal" to describe Tim Anderson being a bounce back candidate.Seattle or Bust wrote: ↑Fri Oct 06, 2023 9:47 pmI don't really care lol. I'm not advocating for the M's to bring in Anderson now. I'm just stating that he could be a bounce back candidate for whoever wants to pick him up (if the Sox don't grab his option).ice99 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 06, 2023 9:41 pmI'm not sure where you got banking from. To be better than Tim Anderson doesn't mean banking. They have Rojas, Bliss, and Moore. Tim Anderson reminds me of Milton Bradley, the last year of being a Seattle Mariner version, not his earlier version. JRod led the FO to picking up the outfielders they acquired.Seattle or Bust wrote: ↑Fri Oct 06, 2023 9:03 pm
I don’t know that. True. But Anderson has a track record to bank on.
What I know is nobody is banking on Cabby, a 27 YO AAAA 2B rookie, who had a couple good months in the majors until he didn’t, to be anything close to an everyday 2B.
And ya, it’s unfortunate that they were led in that direction. Maybe they should lead elsewhere.
Rojas/Bliss is fine w. me.
The team has much larger fish to fry.

It's not that strange to see that they wouldn't be using the term "ideal" to speak about Tim Anderson being a bounce back candidate. But your obsession with Harmony is getting a little weird.Seattle or Bust wrote: ↑Sat Oct 07, 2023 3:42 amGod you are so strange.ice99 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 07, 2023 1:18 amI'm just saying Cabby is probably better than Tim Anderson at this stage. JERRY DIPOTO ACCUSED OF SEXUAL ASSAULT.
The following message was sent to the Mariners anonymously.
"Dear Mariners,
Jerry Dipoto f****d us.
Sincerely,
All fans except Vogelbomb"

Another good piece. I just can't see them getting away with business as usual any longer.
