Seems like a big upgrade from McCarthy.

Hopefully he follows through and does what he says he will, unlike McCarthy.

Yeah I have seen a lot of him the past very years, very impressive and a massive upgrade.

I too wonder why they didn't go with him as soon as McCarthy was voted out. I guess the guys in leadership positions (e.g., Scalise) wanted their chance, as did Jordan. When McCarthy became speaker, he agreed to the provision that a single member could introduce a motion to vacate. Does anyone know if that remains in place?

What is Speaker Johnson saying he will do?

Starting with the same thing McCarthy said he would do, which is ultimately why he got removed.

Release the January 6th video from the Capitol.

And no more omnibus spending- bringing back single bill spending.

He seems like a polished politician, but he does have a good grasp on what's happening-

Hopefully he will accelerate the investigations on the Biden Crime Family, the FBI, and the CIA. I'd like them to be wrapped up by next September.

I just watched his speech. Short and sweet and to the point. Dude's got skills. I see a future POTUS run in his future. Only 51 yo.
