Anyone remember this gem?

He then posted twice over the next month while the M's floundered and returned when they showed some life...

Some would call mocking fans frustration over their team sucking in the early months and then fleeing cowardice.

How'd the rest of the 152 pan out Harmony? Oh right, they missed the playoff due to that early stretch. But please do lecture us.
Thanks for the feedback.

Jerry says he see's that the M's needs are "fewer" than in previous years. (Not sure how he can say that given how badly he fucked up and repeatedly said the F/O blew the '22 off season... but OK)

Says they want to add right handed bats who can make contact. He said ideally that player can play corner OF and DH.

Still saying Kelenic is younger than most prospects.

Didn't hit at Gilbert being available, "consummate Mariner."

Problems:

The only F/A right handed hitter who truly fits this description that didn't K a metric fuck ton is Lourdes Gurriel. Again, probably not a terrible signing but he can't be added in a vacuum like they did Teo, his low OBP #'s are alarming, and we wildly benefited from hitting in Arizona (.830 OPS) vs the road (.715 OPS).

Jorge Soler and JD Martinez cannot be relied upon to play defense. Soler's red flag is that he tends to just take years off and he's led the league in K's + was on pace for well over 180 K's in '22. Martinez's red flag is that he's 36 years old and you just can't rely on his bat to do what they need as he ages.

Unless it happens via trade, I don't see it. If it happens via free agency and that's all they do? The off season will again be a massive mistake.

You know who fits this description perfectly? Seiya Suzuki... maybe it would have been wise to sign him 2 years ago Jerry, ya dunce.

Idk... I hate what I'm hearing already. This "we have fewer needs than before" nonsense just isn't true.

People are forgetting one thing about the Teoscar debacle. If Teo does accept the QO, you then trade him with $10million to get a decent prospect in return....and it is not like Jerry hasn't bought prospects before.

At $10mill, Teo has a ton of value to other teams.

btw WHY do we need to focus on RH bats when we have Julio, France, Geno, Cal as a SH and Moore and possibly Hunt or Murphy when everyone knows that T Mobile is tougher on RH hitters????

Saying we have fewer holes means he is good with France at 1B, Geno at 3B, Rojas and Cabby at 2B and JK in a corner OF sport. So he thinks all we need is a DH and another OFer.....which is technically less holes than last season when we needed those two, training wheels platoon for JK and a DH.

players who accept the QO can not be traded until June 15 without their consent.

It's frustrating.

Last year they needed "base sweepers". This time around they're chasing "contact".

Juan Soto and Whit Merrifield had the same Contact %, but Soto had a .930 OPS and Merrifield had a .700 OPS.

Contact isn't going to fix our issues.

Just buzzwords because he has no idea what he's doing putting an offense together.

Pretty ironic he wants a right handed contact hitter when literally NONE are available. Thought it meant we would be in on the Korean but he bats LH.

A few guys I think fit his contact mold are Yandy Diaz, Lane Thomas, L. Gurriel, and Justin Turner.
