Simple and easy. Could sign a DH like Soler or Martinez to a one or two year deal as well. Easy peasey.

Sign Jung Hoo Lee and slot him into LF. He will be a defensive upgrade and has a better OBP and lower K rate than anything we can trot out there.

I read the other day that the Angels are not in tear down mode, and they plan to be aggressive in the offseason. So we have the juggernaut Astros, the world series defending Rangers, an aggressively spending Angels and us...the wallflower, 84-wins-will-be-copacetic team. Oh. And the A's. At least we will be better than the A's.

He averaged 94.5 MPH on his sinker (a solid mark for a left-hander) and missed bats against hitters of either handedness. The Braves now have two high-end lefty relievers in Bummer and A.J. Minter, plus 2021 postseason hero Tyler Matzek is expected to return from Tommy John surgery early in 2024, perhaps even in time for Opening Day. Quality lefty relievers are a must when you share a division with Jazz Chisholm Jr., Bryce Harper, Brandon Nimmo, and Kyle Schwarber, among others.
