Where did you hear the news that Morris is entering the portal?
And more importantly, why would he let that out now when the team is in the playoffs?

It was a joke. If Ward is transferring the assumption is he transfers to us so Morris would transfer out rather than sit on the bench again next season. Get it?Walla Walla Dawg II wrote: ↑Sun Dec 03, 2023 11:42 pmWhere did you hear the news that Morris is entering the portal?

As top-notch incredible as this Husky coaching staff is, there is NFW that Dylan Morris is seeing one down of significant football reps next season.D-train wrote: ↑Mon Dec 04, 2023 1:09 amIt was a joke. Looking forward to seeing what transfer QB comes in. Might we see Will Rogers follow the Dillon Johnson train from Mississippi St.?

He was great two seasons ago. I wonder what has caused the regression...He must have been injured. Sounds like a Penix situation.

supposedly fluorished in Leach's Air Raid; system overhaul after his passing. could be a great 1-year bridge to the more talented, stronger-armed Austin Mack who could probably use another year to develop.D-train wrote: ↑Wed Dec 06, 2023 1:26 pmHe was great two seasons ago. Apparently he got the news that he was going to be a backup again, no matter what happened.

Good for him for sticking it out as long as he did. We would have been screwed if Penix got hurt, but after Huard left, our backup would have been a 16 year old kid that should still be in HS without Morris.
I know it seemed like I hated him, but I was mostly just disgusted with the coaching staff that thought he should be the man. Jimmy and Donovan just loved Morris, and it made no sense. And when they would give Huard or the South Dakota kid a shot the play calling was ridiculous. That said, it’s starting to look like Huard was just another Washington guy that looks good against Washington HS competition.
