It's remarkable how people get themselves in trouble on X, formally known as Twitter. Heck, the guy that owns it does

Picking him up was a huge mistake. They would have been so much further ahead with the Picks they gave up plus they could have spent the money they gave him on another player as well.

Right that was even more alarming.Michael K. wrote: ↑Wed Dec 06, 2023 10:22 pmOh wow....he hasn't made his picks since week 10 either! Hey SA, if you are lingering, give us a thumbs up. I hope all is well.

I missed all this about Adams. His contract is up this year, yes?
Wow, gone is probably right. What an empty return on investment. Two first-rounders, anything else? Thank God we fleeced the Broncos.

Does anyone here think that Adams has a point? Is it okay for a NY beat writer to rip on Adams (or any athlete for that matter), but not okay for the player in question to respond in kind?
The Adams trade aside (which has proven abysmal), should players be held to a higher standard than the talking heads, most of whom have never played the game?
Just curious what people think about this.

Adams didn't respond in kind. If he had just gone after the guy for how he does his job it probably wouldn't have drawn much notice.
