If 'dumbing down' the offense gets the ball out quick and minimizes turnovers, then why not do it? Football is football, it's not rocket science. I'm convinced that if a team just did the basics... watched game tape, practiced for an opponent, created/exploited mismatches and played with a sense of urgency, then that team would have a really decent chance at success.trharder wrote: ↑Tue Dec 19, 2023 7:09 pmLock might be marginally better in that respect, but for me, it was obvious the game plan and play calling as it related to LockSeattle or Bust wrote: ↑Tue Dec 19, 2023 6:17 pmBig difference between Geno and Lock:
Pocket presence.
Geno sits in the pocket for too long and doesn't recognize when he's gotta get the ball out.
Lock shifts laterally in the pocket when he anticipates pressure and then gets rid of the f'n ball.

SEA is notorious for slow starts, showing up for half a game, etc. They need to be more aggressive, set the tone, catch the other team flat-footed. And do that for the entire game. Which seems to contradict with PC's approach.
