New Hampshire doesn't have an "open" primary in the sense that "anyone" (i.e., registered Democrats) can just walk in on Election Day and vote in the Republican primary. Voters who did not declare for a party can vote in the Republican primary. But for a registered Democrat to vote in the republican primary, he or she would have had to change affiliation (i.e, for Democrat to Republican or Democrat to undeclared) by October 6 last year.

I think exit polls showed that voters who identify as Republican went for Trump over Haley by 75-25.

Most news reports stated that 67% of the votes cast for Nikki were from cross-over Dims or independents. I wouldn't overanalyze Nikki's allure to Republicans.

The stat that I saw was registered Rep's were 70% to 27% Trump, and for unregistered it was literally the opposite. Clearly the dems were working hard to skew perception - but the most interesting takeaway is the 27% independant trump voters - when you factor in the fact the Dems were radically overrepresenting as 'independant" - that independant % number will be significantly higher for Trump - he's is doing better than expected. It's hilarious to watch the news and dems trying to spin haley into relevance. I don't take the numbers to mean so much as pro trump, as much as they are about the massive push back on failed dem policies destroying everything, everywhere. people have had enough.

why is no one talking about kari lake and the bribery scandal in Arizona? GOP chair caught on tape trying to bribe her NOT to run - saying 'there are powerful people back east who don't want you to run..." despite her polling crushing everyone else.

There are 20 states with "open" primaries, so I suppose Nikki could garner enough votes to make it to the convention in 2nd place. Her only hope is if Trump gets convicted of some bogus charge like stepping on a bug as he walks in the parking lot.

And should Trump, in a highly delusional state, select Nikki as his running mate, I'm not certain if that would help his election.

$2.6B net worth. $83M likely won't impact his quality of life...

Couple that worked as a chauffeur and handyman charged with stealing from their employer. They overcharged him $34 mil on his American express and he didn't notice. Now that's being rich
