I don't follow the draft very closely. I glanced at a few mocks, surprised me the number of WR's it seemed at the top of the lists. Really have to go with the talent the draft offers. Is it heavy in WRs? As opposed to D line?
This draft IS WR heavy. Some say it's the deepest WR draft class of all time. I don't know about that. But I do know that there are a lot of Football Fantasy geeks freaking out about how many there are in this draft. As to whether they all hit or not, who knows.

Marvin Harrison Jr.
Malik Nabers
Rome Odunze
Troy Franklin
Adonai Mitchell
Brian Thomas Jr.
Xavier Worthy
Xavier Legette
Ja'Lynn Polk
Jalen McMillan
Malachi Corley
Tez Walker
Jacob Cowing
Ladd McConkey
Roman Wilson
Johnny Wilson
Keon Coleman

Just to name a few!

In the past I could never get excited about WRs because I knew we would waste them. If DK was drafted by a team with a brain he probably would already be a HOFer even if he retired tomorrow.

Props to Ben/Sexy for first suggesting this! If you want news before it hits the mainstream media. Marinertalk.com is the place to go!

BOOM!!!! 8-)

They clearly had interest in Detroit’s offense given they interviewed Ben Johnson. This would be an opportunity to potentially still bring it to Seattle. Engstrand is bright, young and worked closely with the tight ends (Sam LaPorta). He is well worth an interview, even if — unlike Ryan Grubb — he has no playcalling experience.

And to take it one step further, If Mac is calling plays then I want a really young DC. That person will only have the DC in title only. They won't call plays. So I want a young whipper-snapper that is smart. To me, a DC that wants call plays won't make sense. I would have loved Orr but someone in that mold would be ideal.

DK was the 64th pick in the draft, so really only the Seahawks had a brain.

When was the last time they threw to him on a fly route? 2020?

I will predict he has career highs in Receptions and Yards and TDs this season...

Not that it would matter but that doesn't really look very good, bailing like that. Interesting that he didn't get a new contract for returning to the Lions, no raise
