That seems a little extreme.

It is absurdly extreme. Dumping DK before seeing what he can do in a Grubb offense which was created this century would be insane. Cut Lockett and keep DK and JSN as your 1 and 2. Draft your new 3 in the mid rounds.

I'd rather swap JSN for Odunze than DK. (in a hypothetical situation that any of it is possible).
I'm predicting boldly now that JSN is going to be a problematic diva.

Odunze is as talented coming out of college as I have seen. But what will put him on everyone's list is he's
solid as hell personality wise too.

Jamal has a cap savings of a post june 1 cut at 16.5 million (dead money 10.4M)
Cut Diggs get 11 million in cap
cut Will D (for the love of God Please cut him) 6.97 million cap gain
cut Mone get 5.4 million add
cut Bellore get 2.85 million
Cut Young get roughly 1 million

Fastest way to get 43 million added to the cap space. But, with a negative 5.2 we would only have 38ish million in cap space.

With these 6 cuts we would have 44 players under contract. Cut some end of roster guys and you can add more.

They would save some money on cutting Lockett but he still has a dead cap hit of almost 20 Million. I'd rather pay Tyler 28 Million to play for us then pay him him 20 Million to play for someone else. He is gone in 2025 though for sure if he doesn't restructure.
