He definitely looks to have a second gear once in the open field. What impressed me today, and is something he has done more of since his odd walk through injury sidelined him, is the tough runs. He had a few shortish three or so yard runs today that I think last year or early this year would have been losses or no gains. Today he seemed to have good vision, and didn’t stop his feet. He does that and we are going to be looking at a RB by committee...and if Carson keeps fumbling? Then Penny will be the #1.
This has never been a problem.

Says his #1 fan. His negative runs have been a Killer in the past.

He barely touches the ball. How could his negative runs be a killer? You whine about the pick so to justify it you come up with mythical analysis of his play. No one is seeing what you're seeing. It's just bizarre. Penny needs to play more. Enough said.

You seem to have forgotten the times he stopped in the back-field waiting for a hole to open up that never did.

Ugo Amadi was expected to take over as the Seahawks' nickelback, but Akeem King handled those duties Sunday. He played 26 of Seattle's 76 defensive snaps. Rookie L.J. Collier played the same number, a new career-high, with Jadeveon Clowney inactive. Shaquem Griffin played 25 in his new role as a situational edge rusher.
