Polanco only had 59 plate appearances in 2023 batting in either the 3 or 4 holes.

But the Mariners acquired him to be one of their middle of the order bats.

We have a team full of guys that should be batting 2nd or 6th, but no actual MOTO hitters.

Before today the Mariners had more negative WAR from their offensive players than positive WAR.

They had -0.8 WAR from the negative guys and 0.7 WAR from the positive players, and that probably gets worse after today if these bums don't pick it up.

Wow what's the excuse today over and over blaming the offense rather then the coaching not doing thier job in fixing the problem. 7 straight games with absolute no offense. Honestly when do the coaching take faults? They are coaches for a reason. Fix this problem. Do something.

The only ONLY bright spot with this team has been the bullpen. Surprising thier holding thier own. Starters are not making it easy in them. They have done great in close games.
