Paying him about $400k more than the minimum. I am certainly not going to complain about that. lol

I think the pen could be decent but yeah when Marco is your #1 and the rest are rookies, a Japanese flop and a man one step from the Grave, it likely will get ugly early.

Re: Mariners sign reliever
Looking forward to Sheffield and Dunn taking a step forward this year, as well as watch the progression of Gilbert and Kirby.
I'm also really interested to see what kind of body of work Isaiah Campbell and Brandon Williamson will throw up this year.
Keep gobbling up pitching!

Re: Mariners sign reliever
yep, Gilbert will probably be up mid season to replace Graveman. Kirby might get a Sept callup and could be in the rotation OD 2021.Sexymarinersfan wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2019 6:33 pmLooking forward to Sheffield and Dunn taking a step forward this year, as well as watch the progression of Gilbert and Kirby.

Re: Mariners sign reliever
While Carlson did cross my mind...I'll be honest. I'll believe it when I see it. So that's why I left him off my post. But let's hope he starts by just getting and staying on the field for now.
Re: Mariners sign reliever
I really want the Mariners to find a closer with the initials CC. Austin Adams in the 7th, Brandon Brennan in the 8th, and CC in the 9th. A^2 +B^2 = C^2. The 8th grade math dork in me would be really pleased with that... until I realized they suck then Id get over it.
