You aren't reading even close to what I'm saying.

He's supposed to be a superstar. He was handed a superstar contract. When Dipoto talks about the contract he literally says, "we handed $500 million to Julio."

At worst he's a .250/.350/.400 hitter... not whatever bullshit we're seeing.

What he's doing is pathetic and I wish you would call it out as such, rather than almost never comment on it but shit on Dylan Moore when he has a rough stretch.
Do you understand the difference between “here’s500 million” and “ here’s your opportunity to earn 500 million”

“You are a very good player, and we’re confident enough to give you 209 million, but you can go out and make it 500 million.” Those are 2 very different things.
What 23 year old has any team ever handed the sort of contract you're talking about?

I don't know why this is so hard for you. I know you're in love with the guy, but you can be critical of him. You use kid gloves with him but absolutely hosed Dylan Moore last week for a couple of errors... dude is making $3.3 million and playing out of his natural position.
I am critical of him, but he was the best hitter on the team the last 2 years. He needs to pull his head out and start hitting. He has the last 2 years though, so I think he’ll figure it out. Will he become a 500 million dollar guy? I don’t know. But I’m sure glad to have a player like him for 12 years 209 million.

Also, it’s bet similar to what Acuna got, 17 million a year, but after 8 years Acuna is a free agent. Julio was locked in for 12

Hey, Mariners offense helped Bummer's ERA go from about 5.70 to 5.23 in one inning.

Nice guys on our team!

He is the ONLY chance this franchise has to win a title.

He is the M's Mike Trout. The Yankees Aaron Judge. The Dodgers Mookie Betts.

He's not some guy they said, "golly gee, here's $209 million over 12 years... hope he's at least a decent bat."

Because the ownership won’t pay for more. That’s on the ownership for being cheap

That was a pretty generous hit ruling for Kelenic last inning

Acuna is a better player than Julio. The Braves expect him to be a superstar. He's a proven superstar.
