Re: More slumps...
I swear if I have to watch one more ground ball slap resulting in a double play by Ty France...
....or watch Moore just staring at strike 3 down the heart of the plate again....I'm going to be sick.
If they struggle let the kids play. Rather watch Locklear and Bliss. imho.

An out of touch organization
The team is really pushing to get Julio to the all star game
He’s no all star this year…Doesn’t deserve to be on the garbage crew at the game. Pathetic

Mind blowing. Never should have had Polanco back This was the perfect time to cut him loose. As BPJ said Your guaranteed a spot if your owed money….its got NOTHING to do with the hot hand.seattlefan-daBronx wrote: ↑Sat Jun 22, 2024 1:19 pmI swear if I have to watch one more ground ball slap resulting in a double play by Ty France...

No one can hit….its a fucking epidemic. Maybe it is the hitting coach, maybe it’s the manager, but I think this is on the names you listed above. Bad approaches, bad swings, and they just repeat what doesn’t work. I’m not sure who could “teach” this out of them.Seattle or Bust wrote: ↑Sat Jun 22, 2024 5:29 amDylan Moore: .154/.246/.308/.554 over last 15 games

It’s not just here. Amongst hitters with enough plate appearances to qualify? 12 guys in all of baseball are hitting .300 or better. Ohtani leads all of baseball….at .318! No one hits, because .200 with 30 bombs and 85 RBIs gets you paid! Swing from your ass and pray, and you’ll make millions.
Maybe all this reliance in stats besides average was the wrong play? Walk, strike out or hit a home run. That’s all that happens these days. Basehits are mistakes that didn’t get in the air enough!

Since this pitch clock stuff offense has been on a big downward trend. Pitchers who get in a rhythm are dangerous and the pitch clock has only added to this.
I also think they need to get rid of the shift entirely. I'm talking this is your position, you are not to stand 6 inches right of 2B and 6 inches off the grass if you're a shortstop.
The game is getting fucking boring. Like how does MLB look at the steroid era, which undoubtably was the most popular time for baseball ever, and allow for all this shit that kills hitting?

They've ruined the game by turning the ball into a marshmallow at the same time the average pitch speed has risen probably 10 mph in the last 15 years.
Then they add new rules and still pretty much allowing defensive shifts to top it off.
