I find it interesting, the expectations and the results
Me too. I think, when you're looking at a high school level amateur prospect the projection is just incredibly difficult. In Jarred's case, I don't think the evaluation was wrong exactly, but he was probably a little more maxed out on his talent level given the resources that his parents had available to put into his development. Frankly, I think that was a parenting mistake but whatever.

Interesting, there is this...
The only knock on Kelenic leading up to the 2018 draft was his Wisconsin roots
Thats what you're getting at isn't it? His parents couldn't send him to Florida.

No, the Wisconsin stuff is nonsense. The mistake I think was encouraging (and probably actively pushing) him to focus so narrowly on baseball.

Brewers get Dallas Keuchel from us for cash considerations.

Which is funny cause I sort of totally forget we had inked him to a minor league deal.

What's funny is we do this the day after we have a Pitcher that seems to always be injured leave the game with an injury.

In 4 innings of work so far, Keuchel has given up 8 hits and 5 earned runs. Not exactly Cy Young stats.

Seems we might have known what was up? I guess I should learn to give more benefit of the doubt when it comes to our evaluation of Pitching.
