The Seahawks are set to spend $26.1 million on the entire offensive line unit in 2024, over $5 million less than 31st place.

Can't say JS isn't consistent, buys into coaching making the difference rather than paying for talent

They will be ready by Camp. Zero impact on the season.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 7:32 pmOkay, training camp
Dodson is middle linebacker isn't he, he was named to 2024 All-Breakout Defensive teamThe one real negative injury update we have to share concerns linebacker Tyrel Dodson. Seattle was already relatively thin at this spot with Jerome Baker on the sidelines until training camp with a wrist injury from Week 18 last season. Yesterday we learned that Dodson is also injured with an undisclosed issue and Macdonald doesn’t expect him back until training camp, either.
With their two projected starters at inside linebacker out, the team went with Jon Rhattigan and Patrick O’Connell at practice.
PFF ratings
Baker 66.6
Dodson 89.5

Could Jeff Bezos Be Preparing To Purchase Seattle Seahawks?
Jeff Bezos is reportedly selling off $5 billion in Amazon shares, and he has been linked to the Seattle Seahawks before
Re: Grubb to step down (not)
LOL why would he sell shares first as opposed to agreeing to terms and then fund the purchase???Donn Beach wrote: ↑Fri Jul 05, 2024 11:00 amCould Jeff Bezos Be Preparing To Purchase Seattle Seahawks?

Sports writers making $57k a year speculating based on a simple planned diversification strategy.

And who cares. There is a salary cap. If it was the M's then ok, now that is something to give a F about.

Personally, i wouldn't want that slimeball owning any of our teams. He would probably immediately raise ticket prices and parking and concessions costs.

You think that's all it's about? You don't give Paul Allen any credit for the success under his ownership? Or Dan Snyder any responsibility for the disaster the commanders turned into?
Snyder was 34 years old when he bought the team, that's pretty wild
Paul Tagliabue called Snyder "the perfect person" to continue the legacy of recently deceased team owner Jack Kent Cooke

Gibbs retires from the Commanders for the second time in his career, and this time he's gone for good. For his fourth full-time head coach in less than nine years of ownership, Snyder chooses Jim Zorn.
Re: Grubb to step down (not)
Bezos is not my fav guy but you don't build one of the top 3 most successful companies in the history of the world out of your garage by being an idiot. I am sure he would delegate like the Allen's have.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Fri Jul 05, 2024 12:24 pmYou think that's all it's about? None of these guys are idiots, you don't get to where you can buy a major sports franchise by being an idiot. But some of them sure seem to turn into idiots once they buy one. I have no particular opinion of what kind of owner Bethos might be but I do think it makes a difference who owns a team. Terms of the seahawks you are going from the known to the unknown. Sure Bethos can delegate, but he still needs to understand who to delegate to, Jim Haslim delegates
