What a shame they didn't sack that useless turd during the offseason and then hired Stephen Vogt.

I was a fan of Dan Wilson during the Lou years. But another manager with no previous managerial experience? These smells of ownership trying to keep costs down by hiring an inexperienced first-time manager, and also smells of Dipoto wanting a manager without any experience who he can control.

I hate this. They needed a manager who has some history of success and commands respect from the players. Someone that can light a fire under all these underachieving players. Dan Wilson is not the answer in my opinion. As much as I like and respect Dan Wilson, he is not the answer for the problems facing this team. It's a poor hire by a bad owner, and equally bad GM.

Maybin kicks him when his is down. Said he isn't a good communicator and never felt like he had the player's backs. Shocking!

Agree with everything you say. Not sure Wilson is going to be the permanent manager though so let's just hope it's a free shot until the end of the season.

Nothing to lose and everything to gain from here. Then let's see what they do in the winter.

I certainly understand the "no real experience" for Dan Wilson to become the coach/manager, but look at Sweet Lou:
[no real experience, but then again, he was coaching for the Yankees]

Welp. I've been asking for this for a while now.

I'm glad I wont have to look at his smug face holding a fart in ass any longer.

Get fucked Scott. You won't be missed.

Hopefully Dehart is gone too. I have noi idea how that guy has managed to stay employed by the M's for 5 years. :x

Not even sure how the dude got a job in the first place. He never even played pro ball. He was a .250 hitter in college.
