Jordan Schultz
@Schultz_Report
The #Seahawks are releasing WR/returner D'Wayne Eskridge, per sources.

The former 2nd-round pick and speedster should find a new home quickly.

I'm curious - what sort of new home can't wait to sign this train wreck?
Idiot teams that put stock in preseason punt returns. Good riddance. Could have picked Creed Humphries instead but Pete fell in love with a gadget again.

Abe now moved to PUP- Ugh
But Nwosu wasn't. I knew Abe wouldn't be ready so all of this is great news.

They will probably put Nwosu on IR with a designation that allows him to return after missing 4 games.

I think they would have done that today if they thought he would miss four games.

NFL insider Ian Rapoport wrote on Monday that Nwosu’s injury “will cause him to miss multiple weeks and make him a candidate to begin 2024 on injured reserve.”

They kept 11 offensive linemen including UDFA Jalen Sundell. WTF?? A third center instead of Holani, makes no sense. They will be scouring the waiver wire all season for RBs if things hold to the form of the past 5+ seasons.

Trevis Gipson over Jamie Sheriff seems like another odd decision.

That punt return looked more like blind luck and bad coverage to me. Then he runs into the RB blowing up a play to lose any good taste in the coaches' minds.

That is the one I don't like. Reward the guy for his performance.
